Contortion and Flexibility with Mili Gobbi

As always, my goal is to help you learn how to train independently, push your flexibility to its limits safely, and most importantly — have fun connecting with your body without frustration.

I aim to provide both theoretical knowledge and practical tools so you understand why we do what we do and how your body works, giving you tools to keep progressing toward your goals even after the workshop.

Over these three days, we’ll focus on:
- Leg and back flexibility
- Strengthening key muscle groups
- Balance work
- Intro to specific contortion techniques
‍
Prerequisites: You should be able to touch your toes and do a bridge.

Saturday, May 17th, 2-4pm

Mili Gobbi discovered circus arts for the first time in a small school in her hometown of Buenos Aires, Argentina. At the age of 19, she decided to leave her career in music therapy to pursue her passion for contortion. She began her journey by completing a year-long Flexibility Instructor training program, where she learned how to adapt flexibility to different body types and safely work around injuries. This experience laid the foundation for her teaching, which has since taken her around the world. In 2021, after living and training in New York and Portugal, Mili moved to France to continue her professional education at the Regional Circus Arts Center in Lomme. There, she deepened her practice in handbalancing and contortion, and today, she lives and works as a professional circus artist in Europe. Her workshops have been held in Buenos Aires, New York, London and Portugal. Mili’s classes focus on developing full-body flexibility and strength, while offering practical tools and insights gathered throughout her international journey as both a student and a teacher.
